AC Launches New Ad in Arizona, Expands Buy to $1.3 Million - American Commitment

Washington, D.C.—American Commitment is launching a new television ad in Arizona blasting U.S. Senate candidate Richard Carmona, and expanding its buy to $1.3 million.
“Arizona and America need to know the truth about Richard Carmona’s record of wasteful government spending,” said Phil Kerpen, president of American Commitment. “Reckless federal spending is killing jobs and jeopardizing our nation’s economic present and future. We must live within our means and balance the budget to rebuild a prosperous nation.”
The new ad declares that, “Hardworking families can’t afford more wasteful Washington spending. And Richard Carmona has a proven record of reckless spending.”
It cites Richard Carmona’s record as the head of the Pima County Health System, where he ran up a $14 million deficit. And then notes that Richard Carmona was forced out as CEO of a Tucson hospital, leaving it $40 million in debt.
The ad concludes, “Taxpayers bailed out Carmona’s mess…Arizona can’t afford Richard Carmona.”
