President Biden’s latest proposal for student loan cancellation brings the cost to taxpayers up to $559 billion, according to a study by the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Wharton Budget Model. The biggest benefit goes to households with annual incomes exceeding $300,000. It is wrong to force people who didn’t go to college or paid their own way to pick up this tab.
