American Commitment joined a wide coalition of conservative groups urging support for HR3350, which will soon be on the House floor. The bill would eliminate federal barriers to insurers offering the same plans they offered in 2013 in 2014, so people can keep the plans they like. The letter says:
The enormous damage wrought by PPACA cannot, however, be reversed by an apology. It cannot even be undone by an act of Congress.
But Congress can and must mitigate the damage by clearing away all federal statutory and regulatory barriers to extending current plans, so as many people as possible – at this late date – can in fact keep plans they like or at least have more options to replace what they’ve lost.
